In 2002 while on a trip to the Beni's Lago Huachi I saw a friend Fly Fish. Her name is Paquita Munoz and I was hooked. Having always been a spinning reel fisher, I saw the light of the cast. As soon as I returned from that trip I bought my first flyrod and outfit. I never looked back. Little did I realize this sport would become more like and addiction. Today, because of the area in which I live, La Paz Bolivia, most of my Fly Fishing is done in mountain lakes of the Cordillera. The hikes are tough and in high altitude, but the prize is well worth it. I return most of the rainbow trout I catch, as do my partners in this adventure: Dr. Rene Botello and Arq. Fernando Montes. From them and many more I have slowly learned the sport, and felt its joys. I hope the information I have here is of use to you.
